A totally painless experience. Ordered around 3pm Friday on the website. Offered delivery next business day (Monday) to our rural area in Worcestershire. Impressed by that. Only one company was cheaper (by £11) and they couldn't deliver for 10 days. More impressed still on the Monday. The van turned up in the promised timescale, manned by two polite guys who took trouble to offload the new washer/dryer carefully, make sure I knew that packing screws had to be removed and took away all the packing, plus the old washer with no fuss at all. First rate service and the new washer worked perfectly. Everything just as it should be!

We just purchased a Neff dishwasher from Currys. The price seemed much lower than other websites on this site and we both agreed that the Currys website was easy to use.

Ordered a Hotpoint washing machine two weeks ago. Was advised I would be contacted to arrange delivery. Had to chase it up this morning and was offered a date in the middle of next week, well over the promised two week delivery time, so cancelled my order. Have been able to order the same product, including premium delivery, for £47 less by visiting White Box Deals. I won't be using Currys again.

We ordered a Hotpoint washing machine on 17 June, told it would be delivered within 14 days. To date, 5 July, still waiting and despite 2 attempts requesting information, have heard nothing (plus, the customer service team member I spoke to was defensive and told me that it was up to me to deal directly with Hotpoint if I wanted information). Then, this morning, I was asked to complete a Currys customer satisfaction survey! I'm now cancelling this order and won't look at using Currys again.

ordered l.g fridge freezer in broadstairs on monday,product was delivered spot on in the middle of time window,also the apartment in canterbury,has very complicated security access,and they still managed it....unbelievable,but full marks to them.

Their account set-up procedure did not recognise the delivery post code despite me getting it from the Royal Mail web site - so it must exist.
There wasn't an option to over-rde that section - so I didn't complete the order - their loss - so stuff them!

mmm did I rate them one? would have put zero if I was able to.

I ordered a double oven to come before xmas, not because I fancied one but because mine was broken & so my needs were obvious. Just as I'd started to think I'd waited long enough, out of the blue I got a call to say they couldn't make my delivery time slot as they'd put it on the wrong van & would need to come in the morning. A complete surprise to me that they were coming at all as I hadn't even had any paper work through, luckily I had no plans so all was good.

Unfortunately there was an electrical problem requiring me to have work done before fitting. That done, I organized for a redelivery for the 20th Dec. a bit close for comfort but at least I'd have it for xmas!!! and that's where the sager begins, yes you've guessed it, it didn't come. I rang customer services!!! & was greeted by less than helpful staff, no matter what I said it was quite obviously my fault & the same robotic response was given as a reply to whatever I said punctuated by their glib remarks "so I'll cancel it shall I?" ha ha ha there are over 500 employees at Currys ha ha ha!!! I couldn't possibly know who made the arrangements from the name given to you"

So a word of warning, when they introduce them selves as Daniel, Gwen or some other "computer say's no" with an equally irrelevant name, tell them you're not their mate & insist on ID where they can be traced as ha ha ha!! there's over 500 employees...ha ha ha!!!

Not a lot of point asking to speak to their superiors either as, get this "he doesn't take calls". So just do what I'm going to do, complain in writing with a copy to 'Watch Dog'

I've placed an order on 30-Aug-08 and was informed that the dishwasher will be delivered on 03-Sep-08. They informed that the 4 hr time slot can be checked after 9pm a day before the delivery date. I've checked the status on 02nd and status shows as it will be delivered on 03rd without any time slot. Waited whole day and didn't get the delivery on 03rd. By this time, the amount was debited from my account. Called again on 03rd evening and they said that the delivery was cancelled and can't find any reason why it was cancelled!
Called 4 times the next day and didn't get any response. Finally asked them to cancel the order to place an order from different retailer. Thought the Curry's customer service would be better from previous reviews, but I was wrong. Will never place an order with them.

Tried to buy a dishwasher and cooker, both of which were said to be in stock on line. When i tried to buy them was told both unavailable, but could get more expensive models!

Ordered and paid on the web one Sunday, order confirmed and delivery date notified immediately, delivery confirmed by voicemail the day before, new washing machine arrived (and old one taken away) the following Sunday right in the middle of the delivery window. Totally hassle free from start to finish. Good price too.

My Hotpoint fridge freezer would have been over £50 more expensive than the Appliances online deal if not for the voucher code on this site and the service Currys provided was second to none, so please lower your prices Currys we need more affordable and good appliance websites as most are rubbish.

Currys order process nice and simple which helped me (an older shopper). my dishwasher got here without too much hassle and the man that installed it took the time to show me how it all worked so they can't be too bad those people at Currys!
