I should have realised there was going to be trouble when I couldn't place an order without a mobile number and there was no contact for a real person. Not having a mobile I put in all zeros but it wouldn't accept that so I put in my home number with the first "1" missing instead. The order was then accepted but they said they'd contact me on my mobile number to arrange delivery. At least by then I had a number to speak to a real person so I phoned them and all was supposedly all right, with delivery on the Monday except - two days later they took the money from my account and phoned me to say they were out of stock. They phoned me on my home number, I wasn't in, and they didn't bother any other form of contact so the first I knew of it was when I got home on Monday and no cooker! I contacted them and was assured of delivery in two weeks when they had more stock in. That didn't happen either as they hadn't got any more stock from the manufacturer so once again left hanging and Sainsbury's have still got my money. Meanwhile their web site consistently said they had these cookers in stock! Eventually the cooker did arrive, 28 days after they had helped themselves to my money out of my account! Apparently the problem was supply from the manufacturer but Sainsbury's always tried to put on gloss on what was happening instead of being honest. I won't be purchasing anything from this company again.

Sorry guys but only 5 stars is not enough. This company deserves 6 out of 5. Unlike most of the lying idiots who post competetive prices on White Box Sainsbury's not only had my item in stock but promised to deliver it in less than 6 weeks unlike Kitchen Science. To be precise they offerred delivery within 4 days.
Immeadiatly I placed the order (8pm)they confirmed availability but refused to charge my credit card untill full confirmation of delivery date which occurred 9am the following day. They offerred am or pm delivery & further confirmed delivery the night before. They only charge £7.99 to remove the old cooker. I can't make my mind up whether these guys are brilliant or insane to offer this level of service in a sea of tardiness & broken promises, but yo won't find me complaining. Excellant works guys, Thank you.
P.S. quick message for Teresa go use Curry's if you want to pay 25% more for your products! I got my availabity at Sainsbury's immeadiatly upon clicking buy now.

Why do I have to give all my personal & banking details before I can check the availability of the product only then to be told that it is out of stock? Please see Curry's www which checks availability before this lenghty rigmarole.

Overall very happy with Sainsburys. The delivery time took longer than planned however they must be very busy because of the Nectar points promotion so I will use them again.

Sainsburys Kitchen Appliances made buying a kitchen appliance online easy. Good communication all the way through made what could have been a stressful process somewhat bearable. The only negative for which I have deducted a review tick is that the delivery driver called on the day of the delivery to ask if he could delivery early but I refused due to the fact I had to take my child to school, and for this (I feel) he was very upset and made me feel uncomfortable with his silence when he did deliver my fridge freezer.

Sainsburys Kitchen Appliances, Good service, gave me full details of the delivery arrangements, delivery was on time and received phone call before delivery. I will recommend to others and it is a shame that they only sell appliances as I would use them for all my online shopping.

Great shopping experience, quick delivery, friendly delivery people turned up on time. I liked earning nectar points for my purchase at Sainsburys too although getting the things put onto my Nectar card could have been easier.
