ordered a beko dishwasher, after 10 days and hearing nothing I left a message on their voicemail, next day no response, so had to email them, got a generated one back!!! had to call the next morning, got through but could only hear operators talking to each other and I had to hang up, rang again and ended up 2nd in queue. Was told that the item is out of stock, so after ordering on the 7th Oct I am back to square on on the 16th Oct, might give these a miss and order elsewhere, cheaper isnt always better if they have no stock, totally waste of thime.

Never heard of Appliances Direct so was a little nervous and only used because of the price. All went well and my Hotpoint washer turned up this morning as planned so I am pleased to say that from this experience I can recommend.

Disappointing: -
Reasonable product, reasonable effort, poor execution.
The Bosch dishwasher I ordered was shown as “in stock”. Having chosen a date two weeks after the order date I was shocked to be told, two days before delivery, the dishwasher was not available. An alternative or extended delivery was offered. Having chosen an alternative, the delivery was promised by an automated system as being in the morning but turned up in the afternoon.
Appliances online was specifically chosen because they were the only company who could supply the specification of Bosch dishwasher in the timescale required. It turns out I would have been just as well off going with any of the other potential suppliers. At least they were more reliable with their out of stock statements.

very pleased with my oven and hob order at a very good price,items arrived a week later.i was well informed about the progress of my order and delivery by e-mail and sms text.overall,very happy

No contest.
The very worst in internet shopping. We have used dozens of E-Retailers and Appliance Direct are by far the most unrelyable. I am a developer and self-builder and have fitted out houses using online stores. We ordered a sink, taps, waste disposer, cooker and extractor on 6th January. It is now March and we have recieved the sink, taps and disposer. This took 3 deliveries. We have been sent a broken extractor. That made 4 deliveries. Google any appliance and they appear to have it "in stock", but they carry ZERO stock. Ask for stock availability and they quote 5-10 days delivery. More like 5-10 weeks.

I have never complained about any company or anything in my life. Please avoid this company. Customer services is one long wait on hold. They continually blame their supplier, it is never their fault, they offer no alternative and if you complain to them they just offer a refund. What good is a refund when you have already WAITED 2 months for your oven.

Too much turnover to care about 1 family with no oven. Shop local, pay a little more at least you can go to the shop and talk to the salesman.

DO NOT BUY FROM APPLIANCES DIRECT.

Knew Appliances Direct from their laptop site which I used last month and was happy with. I am not sure which came first of the two but I just received the same good service from the appliance site that I enjoyed from the Lappy site. Washer arrived on time and at good price (not best price here but thought I would stick with what I knew).
