Dixons General Information Dixons is part of the DSG international group and is one of the largest consumer electronics retailers in Europe. On 5 April 2006 Dixons decided to close all of it's high street stores and rebrand them as Currys.digital.  You can now only make purchases from the Dixons website.  Currently, Dixons  retails in  washing machines, washer dryers, tumble dryers, dishwashers, cookers, ovens, hobs, microwaves, cooker hobs, refrigerators, fridge freezers, freezers and wine coolers.  They stock all the top brands, including Hotpoint, Indesit, Neff, Smeg, Siemens, Bosch, Electrolux, and Whirpool, among others. Dixons was one of the first online kitchen appliance retailers to launch a 'Price Match Promise' which means Dixons check competitors  prices every week. If they find a kitchen appliance at a lower price, they then lower theirs!
