MY DISHWASHER SEEMS TO TAKE A LONG TIME IN THE ECO 50  PROGRAMME (TODAY IT WAS STILL GOING 6 HOURS AFTER STARTING IT!).  I WANTED TO KNOW ROUGHLY HOW LONG THIS PROGRAMME SHOULD TAKE?. IT IS ONLY 12 MONTHS OLD.

Hi,


Without any specific make & model details I cannot advise on specific programme times.


However no cycle should take 6 hours! It sounds like you have a possible heat problem, if the heater is faulty then it will take a long time to heat the water in the dishwasher, and any programme will not advance until the correct desired temperature is reached, by use of a thermostat.


I would suggest to have the heater tested and If the machine is only 12 months old, check any warranty you may have.

 The dishwasher model number is S54E53X1GB/90, I would just like to know how long the running time approx for each of the programmes SHOULD be! If you could find that out that would be very helpful. Thank you.
